Opened in 1952, the Yan Kit Swimming Complex was Singapore’s second public swimming facility and the largest of its time. It was closed in 2001 and redeveloped as a community sports facility. To commemorate the official launch of the Yan Kit Pool Heritage Gallery and Mural, we were commissioned by Sport Singapore to design a 56-page publication that chronicles Yan Kit Pool’s history, the transformation of the area, and the many aquatic champions it produced. The publication also provides historical relevance to the current Yan Kit building and preserves Singapore’s sporting heritage.
